May 1st - May Day

Every May 1st I like to celebrate "May Day". It is a fun tradition of sneaking to a friend's house and placing flowers on their doorknob. As a mom, I have now included my children in this tradition. We fill a Mason Jar, basket or child friendly container with flowers or candy and small toys and sneak up on our friend's porch and hang our gift on their door or at their welcome mat.

I like to place a card tucked inside with a poem about friendship and the May Day tradition.

Please Google May Day for more information on how to celebrate May 1st and friendships or click here! It's a really cool website I found.
